Sign up with your phone number
We send a one-time code by SMS. One number is one person, which is the first thing that keeps fake accounts out. We never show your number to anyone.
Confirm you’re 18 or older
Alap is for adults only. If your date of birth says you’re under 18, you can’t go any further.
Take a live selfie
We ask you to do a quick gesture, like touching your left ear, and take the photo there and then. A person on our team compares it with your profile photos before your profile goes live. The selfie is only for that check, and we delete it after.
Say how you do relationships
Solo, partnered and dating separately, dating as a couple, long-distance, or still figuring it out. It’s on your profile from day one, so nobody finds out on the third date.
Answer a few questions, honestly
Pick at least two prompts and answer them in your own words. This is what people see first, before your photos. Add your boundaries too: what you’re looking for, what you’re not, what to ask about first.
Choose who never sees you
Name your workplace, your college or your neighbourhood, and people from there won’t be shown your profile.
Browse people by what they say.
Adda is where you meet people near you. Each card leads with someone’s answer and their relationship style. Their photos show as a soft blur.
- Like someone and they’ll know. You get 10 likes a day, so each one means something.
- Reply to an answer to start talking, like replying to a story.
- Filter by distance, age and relationship style.
Talk first. Then see each other.
Once you’ve both written to each other, your photos unblur for each other, and only for each other.
- Sharing a photo in chat? You decide if they can see it once or any time. Chat photos delete themselves after 30 days.
- Plan a meet-up in the thread, and a panic button is ready if you need it.
- After a date, we ask you privately how it went. The other person never sees your answer.
