Verification
Nobody gets in unchecked.
A profile can’t appear to anyone until it has passed every check below. The server enforces this, not the app, so there’s no way around it.
Live selfie, checked by a person
You take a selfie doing a gesture we pick, right then. A moderator compares it with your photos and your stated age before you go live. Then the selfie is deleted.
Every photo screened
Each photo you upload is checked for nudity and violence before anyone can see it.
Couples co-sign
A couple profile needs both partners to confirm. One person can’t pretend to be a couple.
Discretion
You decide who can see you.
- Hide from your circles. Name your office, college or neighbourhood, and people from there won’t see you.
- Blurred until you both talk. Your photos stay soft until you and the other person have both written.
- Photos in chat on your terms. Let someone see a photo once, or any time. Either way it deletes itself after 30 days.
- No guest lists. For meetups, you only see who’s going once you’re going too.
When something goes wrong
One tap, and people who act.
- Block anyone, silently. They’re never told, and you disappear from each other.
- Report fake photos, harassment, pressure or anyone who seems under 18. A moderator reviews every report.
- Panic button during a meet-up alerts our safety team and shows local emergency numbers.
- Photos that aren’t you cost you your verification at once, and you have to prove yourself again.
Your data
Kept in India. Never sold.
Stored in IndiaProfiles, messages and photos are kept on servers in India.
No ad trackersThe app carries no advertising or analytics tracking kits.
Contacts never uploadedIf you use contact hiding, numbers are scrambled on your phone first.
Delete any timeDelete your account from the app or from our website.
